The Relevo website reported that La Liga club Real Madrid has called on its fans to chant slogans regarding corruption within the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) during the upcoming match against Girona in Round 25.
This action is planned for February 23 during the twelfth minute of the game at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium. Previously, los Blancos strongly disapproved of such actions; however, now the team expressed its extreme dissatisfaction with the current refereeing system in Spanish football.
It's worth noting that Real Madrid have already submitted an official complaint to the RFEF regarding the officiating in their match against Espanyol (0-1) in Round 22, emphasizing the need for a complete overhaul of the current refereeing system.
On February 21, it was revealed that the suspension of Real Madrid and England midfielder Jude Bellingham, who received a red card in the match against Osasuna (1-1) in Round 24, has been upheld by the RFEF Appeals Committee.
Earlier, on February 15, EFE reported that the 2010 World Cup champion, 2012 European Champion and former Spain defender Gerard Piqué, who is now president of the Segunda B club Andorra, has been summoned to court to provide witness testimony in a corruption case.
