Real Madrid's TV station voiced its dissatisfaction with the performance of the officiating crew during the Copa del Rey final against Barcelona, which ended in a 3-2 victory for the Catalans after extra time.
Commenting on the offside incident involving Vinicius in the seventh minute, the club's channel called the referees' decision wrong.
Regarding the canceled penalty for Barcelona in the 47th minute, Real Madrid TV claimed that it was clearly a penalty and critisized the quick decision-making by VAR referee Pablo Gonzales Fuertes, expressing hope for the objectivity of the semi-automatic offside detection system.
Additionally, the club’s channel considered the yellow card shown to Frenkie de Jong in the 67th minute for a foul on Kylian Mbappe to be too lenient.
Earlier, FIFA reached out to the Madrid club following pressure from los Blancos on the referees.
