Due to recent events regarding footballer Kylian Mbappe, Real Madrid has decided to temporarily remove his images from their advertising materials.
The management at Real Madrid has chosen to exclude French forward Kylian Mbappé from the promotional campaign for the new Artist Pack collection. This clothing line was developed as part of a project aimed at drawing attention to social initiatives supported by a charity that assists vulnerable populations.
The news of Mbappe's removal from the promotional photo surfaced after teammate Jude Bellingham shared an unedited version of the advertising campaign on social media. In the original photo, the French player was seen behind his teammate, but he was absent from the final version of the image.
During the 2024/25 season, Kylian has scored seven goals and provided one assist in 11 matches across all competitions for Real Madrid.
Recently, international media reported allegations of rape against Kylian Mbappe. The Swedish police announced the initiation of a preliminary investigation into an alleged crime that took place in a Stockholm hotel where the athlete was staying. Mbappe has denied these claims, labeling them as fabrications. He also stated that he wishes to play for the French national team only in crucial matches.
