Real Madrid have announced on their official website the details regarding the left thigh muscle injury sustained by forward Kylian Mbappe during the UEFA Champions League match against Italian club Atalanta.
The medical department of los Blancos diagnosed the injury following an examination of the player on December 10. According to the club's report, they will closely monitor Mbappe’s condition. The club did not specify the approximate time of Mbappe’s inactivity, but it is expected to take 7-10 days.
In the match against Atalanta, the Frenchman was substituted in the 36th minute after previously scoring a goal in the 10th minute.
Mbappe has been with the Madrid club since July 2024, and during his time with the Spanish team, he has played in a total of 22 matches, scoring 12 goals and providing two assists.
