Real Madrid’s winger Vinicius Junior invited his teammates to a restaurant to thank them for their support following his second-place finish in the voting for the prestigious Ballon d'Or award.
According to the AS publication, forward Kylian Mbappe, as well as midfielders Federico Valverde and Aurelien Tchouameni, did not attend the meeting. The celebration did not last late into the night as the team had a morning training session scheduled.
Sources indicate that there is a strong sense of unity within the team. However, players and coaching staff alike recognize the need to improve their performance.
Recall, the prestigious Ballon d'Or award was claimed by Manchester City's midfielder, Spanish player Rodri, following the voting results.
