Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camawinga will not be able to play for about two and a half months due to a knee injury, COPE journalist Arancha Rodriguez reported.
The 21-year-old French footballer was injured at a national team training session when he collided with PSG player Ousmane Dembele. As a result of the incident, Camavinga suffered a torn ligament in his right knee joint. He is expected to return to action at the end of January.
In the current season Camavinga played 17 matches for Real Madrid in all tournaments, scoring one goal.
In early November, Real Madrid announced the extension of the contract with the French winger until 2029. In an interview earlier this year, Camavinga said that as a child he dreamed of becoming a judo player.
