Madrid's Real has utilized the option to purchase the rights to forward Joselu from Espanyol, as reported by the Catalan club's press service in their official channels.
Earlier, there were reports in the media that the buyout amount would be 1.5 million euros. The club's desire to buy the forward was communicated in mid-May.
In the previous season, the 34-year-old forward played for Real on loan. He played 49 matches for los Blancos in all competitions, scoring 17 goals and providing three assists.
In the 2023/24 season, Real Madrid won the Super Cup and became the champion of Spain, as well as the winner of the Champions League.
