Real Madrid has finally given up on the idea of purchasing PSG French striker Kylian Mbappe, who rejected the club in a free transfer last summer. This is reported by Marca.
According to the source, the royal club will focus on trying to sign Manchester City's Norwegian forward Erling Haaland in 2024.
It was previously reported that Parisian bosses had promised Mbappe to bring Polish striker Robert Lewandowski, Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar and Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva to the team in summer. None of the above players ended up joining PSG. As a result, Mbappe's relationship with the Parisian club has become strained.
This season, Mbappe played 13 matches for PSG, scoring 11 goals.
