Real Madrid have officially announced the transfer of Chelsea London goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga on loan until the end of the 2023/24 season.
Earlier, the main goalkeeper of the Spanish club, Belgian Thibaut Courtois left the team due to a torn cruciate ligament of the knee. The goalkeeper may miss the whole season because of the injury. The player will have to undergo surgery.
Last season Kepa played 39 matches for Chelsea in London, conceding 45 goals and scoring 12 times.
The player's contract with the English team runs until June 30, 2025. The transfer value of the goalkeeper is estimated at €18 million.
