Real Madrid and Bayer Leverkusen have reached an agreement that 21-year-old attacking midfielder Florian Wirtz of the Bavarians will become a player for los Blancos in the summer of 2025.
According to Marca, Real Madrid started working on the possibility of transferring Wirtz several months ago. It is emphasized that Bayer Leverkusen may demand €150 million for the player's transfer.
Wirtz has been playing for Bayer Leverkusen since January 2020. In June 2020, the midfielder scored a goal against Bayern Munich, becoming the youngest goal scorer in the history of the German Bundesliga. In the 2023/2024 season, the player participated in 49 matches in all competitions, scoring 18 goals and providing 20 assists.
