The franchise Naruto is based on the shonen manga created by Masashi Kishimoto. The story follows the life of a teenage ninja named Naruto Uzumaki, who dreams of becoming the leader of his village and the strongest fighter. The manga was finished on November 10, 2014, with the publication of its final two chapters—699 and 700.

The anime adaptation of the Naruto manga began airing in 2002 and ended up in 2017. During this period, viewers experienced two series: Naruto and Naruto: Shippuden. The release of the second season of the anime Boruto: Naruto Next Generations is scheduled for 2025.
