Negotiations on the appointment of Ralf Rangnick as head coach of Bayern Munich are almost finalized. Insider Christian Falk shared this information on his social networks.
According to him, Rangnick has agreed to take charge of the Munich team and talks will continue on Wednesday to finalize details. Rangnick, a 65-year-old specialist, has been in charge of the Austrian national team since 2022 and successfully guided it to Euro 2024.
Earlier it was reported that Bayern were ready to offer Rangnick a contract until 2026 or 2027, but the club's fans have called for Thomas Tuchel to be kept as head coach.
