Qatari Investors Threaten to Cut Funding for PSG

Qatari investors have threatened to withdraw their financial support for the Paris Saint-Germain football club amid allegations against club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi of abuse of power, according to RMC.

On February 5, Al-Khelaifi was charged with complicity in vote bribing, violation of voting rights, and aiding in abuse of power. This scandal is linked to the Lagardère media group, part of which is owned by the Qatari Sports Investments Fund (QSI) headed by Al-Khelaifi.

The Qataris are fed up with all this abuse. False prosecutions, blackmail, daily criticism, blaming others for their total incompetence, all the problems in France are their fault, every time they try to help, it is apparently for 'soft power'.

Earlier, L'Equipe reported that UEFA does not plan to impose sanctions on PSG related to unpaid wages owed to Kylian Mbappe. It was also revealed that PSG's head coach, Luis Enrique, has extended his contract until the summer of 2027.
