The Netherlands defeated the national team of Qatar in the final match of the group stage of the 2022 World Cup with a score of 2-0.
Cody Gakpo and Frankie de Jong scored the goals for the Dutch team. With the goal, Gakpo equaled Kylian Mbappe and Enner Valencia, who are the top scorers of the World Cup with three goals.
The Dutch team scored seven points to reach the 2022 World Cup playoffs, as did Senegal, who finished second in the group with six points after beating Ecuador (2-1). The Qatari and Ecuadorian teams finished their performance at the World Cup.
