According to Telecomasia.net, clubs from Qatar and the UAE have shown interest in 27-year-old Zenit midfielder Zelimkhan Bakaev, who is currently on loan at Al Wahda.
According to our nformation, the interested clubs are not inclined to purchase him. Al Wahda aren't planning to buy the player either but they will try to extend the loan. Zenit, however, may decide against further loaning of Bakaev due to the limited number of Russian players in the squad.
Bakaev moved to Al Wahda in September 2023. With the team from the UAE, the Russian played 22 matches, scoring a goal and providing three assists. At the end of the season, Bakaev won the UAE League Cup with Al Wahda.
