Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has revealed that he doesn't like the negative comments made by the club's former striker Lionel Messi.
Marca quoted Al-Khelaifi as saying:
Nasser Al-Khelaifi
We talk when we are there, not when we are gone. I have great respect for him [Messi] but if someone wants to talk badly about Paris Saint-Germain after [his departure], it’s not good. That's not respect.
Messi played for PSG from 2021 to 2023. He scored 32 goals and gave 35 assists in 75 matches with the Parisians. He won the French championship twice with the team and won one Super Cup of the country.
After leaving PSG, the Argentine striker admitted that he was not happy in the team. Another former player of the Parisian club Neymar said that Messi lived through hell at PSG.
