Doctors diagnosed PSG Paris goalkeeper Sergio Rico with a brain hemorrhage and assessed the player's condition as serious, COPE reports.
Recall that Rico was hospitalized on the night of May 28 after a fall from a horse. The Spanish goalkeeper was taken to a medical facility by helicopter with a serious head injury.
He did not play a single match for his club in the 2022/23 season. PSG won the French championship ahead of schedule, scoring 85 points in 37 Ligue 1 rounds.
The 29-year-old goalkeeper is a three-time French champion, two-time winner of the French Cup, as well as the winner of the Super Cup and the League Cup. Rico won the Europa League twice with Sevilla.
