Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) risks facing a transfer ban for two windows due to non-payment of wages to French forward Kylian Mbappe, as reported by RMC Sport.
Previously, it was reported that the club did not pay the player his salary for April and a bonus for February. This enabled PSG to save €80 million euros. Currently, Mbappe's lawyers are handling the non-payment case.
The decision to withhold payment to the player was made by PSG's president. Real Madrid's Florentino Perez said that he would not pay for a player who becomes a free agent.
Mbappe has been with PSG since 2017. On May 10, the Frenchman announced his departure from the club as a free agent at the end of the current season. According to reports, the 25-year-old Kylian will move to Real Madrid.
PSG and France forward Kylian Mbappe shared his thoughts on the future following the end of the 2023/24 season and his departure from the Parisian club.
