Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) may face sanctions from UEFA due to their debt to former player Kylian Mbappe. This was reported by L'Equipe.
On December 20, Mbappe's lawyers filed a complaint with the highest appeal commission of the French Football Federation, demanding punishment for the club.
According to UEFA regulations, PSG must confirm by January 15 that there are no debts. If they fail to do so, the club may face penalties. It was previously reported that PSG's debt to the player amounts to 55 million euros, including unpaid wages and bonuses.
It's worth noting that last summer, Mbappe joined Real Madrid as a free agent. He had been with PSG since 2017 and stated that he moved to los Blancos for the chance to win the Champions League.
Previously, Mbappe mentioned that he is still a fan of the Parisian club.
