Qatar club Al-Arabi reached an agreement with French PSG on the transfer of midfielder Marco Verratti. FootMercato reported about it.
According to the source, both sides are optimistic about closing the deal in the near future. Al-Arabi is negotiating with representatives of the 30-year-old Italian on the financial terms of the contract.
Verratti has been playing at Paris Saint-Germain for the past 11 years. Last season, the midfielder of the Italian national team played 38 matches for the Parisians in all tournaments, making one assist. In late December, Verratti extended his contract with PSG until the summer of 2026. Transfermarkt website estimates his market value at €40 million.
