The Spanish prosecutor's office has launched an investigation into the case of Luis Rubiales. The President of the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) is accused of sexual assault against footballer Jennifer Hermoso.
Recall, Rubiales got into the scandal after the victory of the Spanish women's national team in the final of the World Cup. During the award ceremony Rubiales kissed footballer Jennifer Hermoso on the mouth. The Spanish athlete said on social networks that she did not like the act of the official. The incident caused public outrage.
According to El Confidencial, prosecutor's office received three complaints on Rubiales. Experts note that the action of the head of the Spanish soccer federation can be regarded as sexual assault or workplace harassment.
