British police are investigating an alleged assault on former player Roy Keane after Arsenal's win against Manchester United on Sunday. Sky Sports spokesperson commented on the incident:
We understand the police are investigating an alleged assault by a member of the public immediately preceding the footage circulating on social media.
Earlier, a video appeared on social media showing Sky Sports pundits Micah Richards and Roy Keane engaged in a brawl. It was also reported that Keane was the victim of an assault. No arrests have been made so far.
The teams met on September 3. The match of the fourth round of the English Premier League (EPL) ended with a home victory of Arsenal with a score of 3-1.
