French midfielder Paul Pogba, currently with Juventus, commented on Manchester United's decision to stop payments to Sir Alex Ferguson.
Pogba told Sky Sports:
Does it change what he has done for the club? No. The only thing I hear is that he won't get paid anymore. Sir Alex Ferguson will still be Sir Alex Ferguson.
In recent years, Sir Alex Ferguson worked as a club ambassador and received a salary for that role.
Recall that under Sir Alex's management, Manchester United won 12 English Premier League titles, five FA Cups, four EFL Cups, ten Community Shields, and two Champions League titles. Sir Alex Ferguson was previously recognized as the best manager of the 1990s.
