On November 26, Mathias Pogba, the older brother of former Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba, along with five other associates, will appear before the criminal court in Paris accused of attempting to extort €13 million from the footballer.
Recall that Paul Pogba, 31, tested positive for banned substances on August 20, 2023, with "non-endogenous testosterone metabolites" found in his sample. In February 2024, he received a four-year ban, which was later reduced to 18 months.
It was revealed on November 16 that the 2018 World Cup champion would be leaving Juventus by November 30 due to the termination of his contract.
On October 20, reports regarding Pogba's departure from Juventus were confirmed by the club’s technical director, Cristiano Giuntoli, in a comment to insider Fabrizio Romano.
