Head coach of London's Chelsea Mauricio Pochettino criticized his charges for behavior in the episode before the penalty in the winning EPL match against Everton.
The meeting ended with a score of 6:0 in favor of the Blue, Cole Palmer scoring four goals. The Englishman scored the fourth goal from the penalty spot, but before the shot was taken, Noni Madueke and Nicholas Jackson tried to take away Palmer's right to take a penalty.
Journalist Fabrizio Romano quotes the specialist as saying:
Mauricio Pochettino
The penalty taker is Palmer. It's Palmer who needs to decide if he wants to give the ball to a team-mate. It's important to fix. They realize now. It's a shame. I told them it's the last time I want to see this kind of behavior.
Earlier Pochettino called on fans to trust Chelsea. It was also reported that the players of the Blues demanded the resignation of the Argentine coach.
