Manchester City head coach Josep Guardiola is confident that midfielder and captain Kevin De Bruyne will sign a new contract with the club.
The Daily Mail quotes Guardiola as saying:
Kevin isn't leaving. If someone leaves, we're going to talk about that.
De Bruyne has been playing for Manchester City since 2015. During these nine years, he won 17 trophies with the Citizens, including the Champions League. The player's contract with the team ended on June 30.
In early 2024, insiders reported that De Bruyne is going to leave Man City. Sources reported about the probable transfer of the 35-year-old midfielder to Saudi Arabia's Al Ittihad.
