Pep Guardiola Reveals Ambition to Manage a National Team

Pep Guardiola, the manager of Premier League club Manchester City, has revealed his ambition to lead a national team in the future.

Guardiola told journalist Fabrizio Romano:

Yeah, one day I'd like to coach a national team as part of my career.

Guardiola has been at the helm of Manchester City since 2016. Under his leadership, the club has won the Premier League championship six times, the FA Cup and the FA Community Shield twice, and the EFL Cup four times, in addition to securing the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, and FIFA Club World Cup titles.

The current contract of the 53-year-old Spanish coach with Manchester City is valid until the end of the 2024/2025 season.

Previously, Guardiola commented on changes in the managerial position of the England national football team.

Football Insider reported that the Spanish manager is close to extending his contract with Manchester City, which is due to expire at the end of June 2025.
