Barcelona and Spain national team midfielder Pedri will be out of action for one to six weeks due to a lateral ligament injury in his left knee, Mundo Deportivo reports.
Pedri sustained the injury in the early stages of the Euro 2024 quarterfinal clash against Germany after colliding with midfielder Toni Kroos.
It was previously announced that due to the injury, the footballer will not be able to participate in the remaining matches of Euro 2024.
Later on, the German player took to social media to issue a statement apologizing to Pedri and wishing him a speedy return to the field.
