German club Bayern Munich is in direct negotiations with English club Fulham regarding the transfer of 28-year-old defensive midfielder Joao Palhinha.
According to journalist Kerry Hau on social media the agreement between the clubs is expected to be reached soon. The player wants his future decided before the start of the European Championship.
Palhinha was brought up by Sporting. He has been playing for Fulham since the summer of 2022, with his contract lasting until 2027. In the 2023/2024 season, Joao participated in 39 matches across all competitions, scoring four goals and providing one assist.
Earlier, Bayern Munich appointed Vincent Kompany as their new head coach.
