Portuguese national team players Nuno Mendes and Danilo Pereira won't be able to play for the national team in the remaining matches of the 2022 World Cup.
Danilo Pereira suffered a broken rib during training and Nuno Mendes injured his hip in a group stage match against Uruguay. Both players wanted to stay with the national team, but after talks with their club PSG it was decided that the Portuguese would return to Paris.
In the quarterfinals of the World Cup in Qatar, Portugal will play the national team of Morocco. The meeting will take place on December 10 and will start at 18:00 GMT+3.
