Neymar, the 32-year-old winger for Saudi club Al Hilal, is unable to play in the near future due to not being fully recovered from a knee ligament injury, according to Marca.
The report indicates that the forward has not been registered to participate in matches for the Saudi league in 2024.
It is expected that Neymar will not return to the field until January 2025 at the earliest, having initially been projected to recover in November.
Neymar moved to Al Hilal from the French club PSG in August 2023 and has only played five matches for his new club, scoring one goal and providing three assists. His contract with the Saudi club runs until the end of June 2025, and his transfer value is estimated at 30 million euros by Transfermarkt.
Additionally, Rodrygo, the Brazilian national team player and Real Madrid forward, stated in an interview with ESPN that the national team is missing Neymar.
