Brazilian footballer Neymar is under investigation following a lawsuit filed against him by a player who allegedly lost $12,000 while betting with Blaze.
The plaintiff claims he lost all his savings due to promotional content featuring Neymar and Blaze. According to the gambler, in the promotional videos Neymar was portrayed as having won substantial amounts from Blaze, which led him to trust in the betting platform.
The plaintiff is now seeking R$1 million (approximately $177,000) in damages, as well as free legal assistance due to his inability to cover the court costs.
A court in Rio de Janeiro has ordered Neymar to provide his contract with the bookmaker within 15 days.
