Brazilian forward Neymar announced that he will wear the number 10 jersey at Santos, the number worn by the legendary Pele.
Neymar stated in a message to the Santos press service:

King Pele, your wish is my command, the throne and the crown they are still yours, because you are eternal. But the number 10, it will be an honor to wear the sacred jersey that represents so much for Santos and the world. I promise to do everything I can to keep honoring your legacy, King.
On January 30, Santos confirmed Neymar's return to the club after an absence of 11 and a half years via their social media channels.
Neymar played for Santos from 2009 to 2013, making a total of 225 appearances, scoring 136 goals, and providing 64 assists.
According to Sky Sport journalist Florian Plettenberg, the 32-year-old Neymar wishes to return to European football after the current season ends.
