The management of Saudi Arabian football club Al-Hilal is considering the possibility of terminating the contract with 32-year-old Brazilian forward Neymar.
According to UOL, the club is prepared to part ways with the player as early as January 2025. The reason behind this decision is Neymar's frequent injuries. Club officials will assess Neymar's physical condition and weigh all factors before making a final decision.
Neymar joined the Saudi club in August 2023 and has played in only seven matches, scoring one goal and providing three assists. His contract with Al-Hilal runs until the end of June 2025, with his market value estimated at 30 million euros by Transfermarkt.
Earlier, the club's head coach Jorge Jesus mentioned that Neymar would be sidelined for at least two weeks due to an injury sustained in a game against the Iranian team Esteghlal.
