Santos winger Neymar is having difficulties transporting his impressive collection of luxury cars to Brazil, as reported by Sport.es.
The footballer has amassed an impressive fleet outside the country, including a Rolls-Royce Ghost, Aston Martin DBX, Bentley Continental GT, Lamborghini Huracan, and four Mercedes-Benz G-Class vehicles. Some of these cars were acquired under his contract with Saudi Arabia's Al-Hilal, which provided him not only with an annual income of 160 million euros but also with various perks.
However, local laws prohibit the importation of used vehicles to protect the national automotive industry. Only cars older than 30 years, classified as collector’s items, can be imported. Because of this restriction, Neymar is currently unable to drive his supercars.
So far this season, the 33-year-old player has appeared in seven matches for Santos, scoring one goal and providing one assist. His contract with the club runs until the summer of 2025, and according to Transfermarkt, his market value is estimated at 15 million euros.
