Santos forward Neymar opened up about his return to the Brazilian club. He admitted that in early January he never imagined coming back to Santos and had no plans to leave Al-Hilal.

When I realized the chance to return, I confess that back in January, I never imagined leaving Al-Hilal or returning to Santos. I was happy there, my family was happy, I was adapted, and eager to play. Things unfolded, and I had to make a decision.
The footballer explained that he began to feel down during training sessions and in his daily life, which had a negative impact on his mental state. When the chance to rejoin Santos presented itself, he did not hesitate to choose the Brazilian club.
Santos are currently leading the Brazilian championship with 68 points. Previously, during his presentation as a Santos player, Neymar couldn’t hold back the tears.
