Neymar, the forward for Al-Hilal and the Brazilian national team, expressed his ambition to participate in the 2026 World Cup, which will be hosted in the USA, Mexico, and Canada.
The 32-year-old has previously played in three World Cups, scoring 79 goals in 128 appearances for the Seleção. Due to injuries, the forward has only managed to play two matches at the club level this season without any goals.
Neymar, quoted by RMC Sport
Of course, the World Cup is the goal for all players. I've already played in it three times, and I obviously want to make it four. I need to focus on that, prepare well here, and have this medium-term objective after getting back in shape at my club.
Earlier, Neymar's agent Pini Zahavi explained to Odds.ru that playing in the Russian Premier League was never an option for his career. Additionally, Inter Miami co-owner Jorge Mas admitted that the club seeks signing Neymar.
