Sandro Tonali's official 10-month suspension for betting on football is over today, and he is eligible to play for Newcastle in the Carabao Cup today.
The Italian midfielder, who signed for the Magpies from AC Milan in the summer of 2023, was hit with a 10-month ban for breaching betting rules by betting on 50 games last season.
However, the 24-year-old has now finished serving his punishment, and he should be in the Newcastle squad for their Carabao Cup match against Nottingham Forest.
