South American teams like Argentina and Brazil are in great shape right now, so for me they are one of the main contenders for the title.
The first match in Group A between Qatar and Ecuador will be played at the Al Bayt Stadium in Al Khor. The match begins at 16:00 GMT.
Qatar and Ecuador have faced each other three times in friendly matches. Two matches were held in 1996. The first meeting ended with a score of 1-1, and Ecuador won the second one (2-1). The teams met for the third time in 2018, the match ended in favor of Qatar 4-3.
Germany will play its first World Cup match against Japan on November 23. The start is at 13:00 GMT.
