The president of Italian Serie A club Napoli Aurelio De Laurentiis revealed his conversation with Super League co-founder Florentino Perez and the upcoming meetings regarding the tournament in the future.
De Laurentiis was quoted as saying by journalist Fabrizio Romano, referencing Corriere dello Sport:

On December 21, the European Court of Justice declared the actions of FIFA and UEFA to ban the creation of the European Super League in 2021 illegal. The court's verdict implies that the Super League can be officially established under the existing European laws. However, the decision of the Court of Justice of the European Union does not apply to the clubs of the English Premier League (EPL), as the UK is not a member of the EU since 2020.
On the same day, UEFA president Aleksander Čeferin said that the union will allow players from teams that take part in the Super League to qualify for the 2024 European Championship in Germany.
