Spanish online magazine Mundo Deportivo reports that a napkin where Argentine striker Lionel Messi signed his first contract with Barcelona is up for auction.
The starting price for the lot is £300,000, and the bidding will continue until May 17. Messi is a graduate of Barcelona's youth academy. He started playing for the first team in 2003. He has won the Spanish league championship ten times with the team, as well as the country's cup seven times, and been victorious in the Champions League four times.
In 2021, Messi left the Spanish team and moved to PSG on a free transfer. With the Parisians, he has won two league titles and the French Super Cup. Since the summer of 2023, Messi has been playing for Inter Miami. His move to the American team led to a doubling of the club's budget.
