Manchester United head coach Erik ten Hag has responded to a question from journalist and insider Fabrizio Romano about the status of the Red Devils midfielder Jadon Sancho, who has been suspended from training with the main squad.
The 53-year-old Dutchman said:
Nothing has changed. He (Sancho) isn’t available, so I have no comment on that.
The 23-year-old winger was suspended from team activities after accusing ten Hag of making false claims. Ten Hag had said that Sancho was not included in the main team for the English Premier League (EPL) fourth round match against Arsenal (1-3) due to the player's poor form. The midfielder refused to apologize for his words. Later, according to DailyStar, it became known that the management of United is ready to part with Sancho in the winter transfer window at a reduced price.
Ten Hag's Red Devils occupy the tenth place in the EPL standings with seven points. Moreover, MU has not scored a single point in two matches of the group stage of the Champions League.
