Mourinho Faces Three-Match Ban After Grabbing Galatasaray Coach’s Nose

Jose Mourinho, the head coach of Fenerbahce, has been suspended for three matches due to an incident that occurred following the quarter-final cup match against Galatasaray, where Fenerbahce lost 1-2.

Mourinho grabbed the nose of Okan Buruk, the head coach of Galatasaray, which led to his punishment. This information surfaced on social media.

The source reports that the Turkish Football Federation decided to impose this penalty, taking into account Buruk's provocative behavior, which the Disciplinary Committee believed provoked the actions of the Portuguese coach.

After Mourinho's actions, Buruk staged a fall, covering his face.

The 62-year-old coach has been managing Fenerbahce since the summer of 2024.
