Monaco forward Wissam Ben-Yedder was taken into custody, AFP reports.
Earlier it was reported that two girls accused the 32-year-old French footballer and his younger brother of forcing them to have sexual intercourse.
In the past season-2022/2023 Ligue 1 Ben-Yedder played for Monaco 32 matches, scored 19 goals and made six assists. Transfermarkt website estimates the value of the player at €15 million.
Monaco took sixth place in the Ligue 1 standings last season, scoring 65 points in 38 rounds.
