According to Sport Diario, Liverpool forward and Egyptian national team player Mohamed Salah may continue his career at FC Barcelona.
The source reports that representatives of the 32-year-old player have already offered Salah's services to the Barcelona management. However, if a transfer occurs, Salah will need to accept a significant pay cut to align with the club's financial fair play requirements.
Earlier, on December 2, 2024, journalist and insider Miguel Rico stated that Barcelona would not sign Salah due to his age. On February 27, El Nacional reported that Serie A club Inter is seriously interested in signing the forward.
In the 2024/2025 season, right winger Salah has played 29 matches in the Premier League (27 goals and 17 assists), and eight matches in the UEFA Champions League (three goals and four assists). Salah's current contract with Liverpool is set to expire at the end of June 2025, and Transfermarkt estimates his market value at 55 million euros.
