Real Madrid reported the extension of the contract with the captain of the team Luka Modric. The press service of los Blancos reported this on the club's official website.
The new agreement with the 38-year-old Croatian midfielder will be valid until June 30, 2025.
Modric has been playing for Real Madrid since 2012 and played in 534 matches for the club across all tournaments, scoring 39 goals. He has won 26 titles as a member of los Blancos, including six victories in the Champions League.
The media first reported on Modric's contract extension in early summer. The Croatian noted that he does not want to think about ending his career yet.
