Milan's Goalkeeper Maignan to Be Discharged from Hospital After Fainting in Serie A Match

According to the prominent publication L’Equipe, French goalkeeper Mike Maignan of AC Milan will be discharged from the hospital today, April 12.

This follows an incident during the 32nd round of Serie A against Udinese, where he fainted after a collision. The player collided with his teammate Alex Jimenez, and the goalkeeper had to be taken away from the field on a stretcher.

This season, Maignan has played 45 matches for AC Milan across all competitions, conceding 52 goals and keeping 12 clean sheets. His current contract with the club is valid until the summer of 2026. Transfermarkt estimates the market value of the 29-year-old player at €25 million.
