Italian club AC Milan have agreed on the transfer of midfielder Tijjani Reijnders, according to sports journalist and insider Fabrizio Romano on his social media page.
The Rossoneri have reportedly reached a verbal agreement to sign the 24-year-old midfielder from AZ Alkmaar. Reijnders has been playing for the club since 2017. The deal will be worth around €20 million including all bonuses. At the beginning of next week, the Dutchman will undergo a medical examination for the subsequent transfer to the Milan-based club.
In the season 2022/2023 on account of Reijnders 54 matches for AZ in the Eredivisie, Dutch Cup and UEFA Conference League, where the midfielder scored eight goals and made nine assists. The player's contract with AZ runs until the end of June 2027. The market value of Reijnders is €14 million, according to the Transfermarkt website.
