France midfielder Adrien Rabiot commented on the result of the quarterfinal match against England at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

We left it all on the field, we are very happy with this win and we want to reach the final now. We have to focus on Morocco and we're very proud of what we have achieved. Even when we're under pressure or have difficulties, we feel that nothing can harm us, and that's very important.

England's quarterfinal match against France at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar took place on December 10 and ended with a score of 2-1. Midfielder Aurélien Tchouaméni and forward Olivier Giroud scored the goals for the winners. The England team responded with a goal from striker Harry Kane from the penalty spot.

On December 9, the first semifinalists of the 2022 World Cup were determined. The Croatian national team defeated Brazil in the penalty shootout.
