Lionel Messi's personal bodyguard tackled a fan who ran onto the field during a match between Inter Miami and Sporting Kansas City in the 9th round of the American championship (MLS), a game that ended 3-2.
In the closing minutes of the match, a fan of the Argentine forward ran onto the field and headed straight for the player. At the same time, Messi's bodyguard rushed towards the fan and tackled him to the ground. The Inter Miami captain scored a goal and provided an assist in this match.
The bodyguard, named Yassine Chueko, is reported to have been a former MMA fighter who served in Iran and Afghanistan.
A similar incident occurred in a match against the Colorado Rapids in the MLS, where Messi's bodyguard pushed a security guard in Hong Kong.
